I had only seen this on TV (The Black Family Channel when it was still on cable). The quality wasn't that great either.

I have a commercial released VHS - pan&scan though - not widescreen.

I transferred it to dvd.

the july 2011 VCI entertainment widescreen dvd version has better colors, but states on the pkg that it has NOT been digitally restored... avail on TCM.com and amazon.com.

It's also available to stream free because it is in the public domain now. Just google it and you can watch it any time.

I found it widescreen and in decent condition as part of 9 films on 2 DVD collection--oddly enough, a Comedy Movies Collection.
