Gun shot angles ... ridiculous !!

Meeker is shooting up, at least 50' but no matter, and his bullets are ricocheting alongside Ryan who is at an impossible angle for this to happen. Maybe a small point but considering how silly it looked and the stars/budget/director etc., you wouldn't think they would let something so ridiculous get by. It takes me out of the movie every time - find myself shaking my head and thinking 'how could they have ...?"
