He would have looked better if the movie had been bettee lit and in colour!
He looked better in The Master of Ballantrae 3 yrs later!!!

He was still a handsome, sexy man! With the pressures of Hollywood, then...And now...I can see how he didn't age well. That partnered with his drinking; (alcohol and smoking cigarettes definitely ages one prematurely). NO ONE is going to look young forever, and granted...There are those who don't age as quickly or as badly as others.

I'll take Erroll Flynn young or old......So sorry he died at the young age of 50.

Although I didn't know him of course, from some of the things I read; I got the impression that Erroll Flynn was not a happy man.

He looked just fine for a man of forty-two. He was still handsome, lean, and agile. "Mara Maru" is one of his best lesser-known movies.
