Oh yes wasn't she fabulous! They showed National Velvet and Lassie Come Home over the weekend; she was the most beautiful child, and sweet-seeming. I just love her in NV. I'd never heard of this one. She probably hoped it was lost forever.
shareI just watched Love Is Better Than Ever on TCM and I have to say she was absolutely beautiful. I had no idea how stunningly gorgeous she was until I saw Ivanhoe and thought "Who is that woman? Oh.... my god.... that's Elizabeth Taylor?!".
She definitely comes close to my number one gal, Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn wasn't the greatest actor but I could definitely watch her films all day and just stare at that face.
Dare I say, Elizabeth Taylor bumped Grace Kelly down to number three.
