William aka James Fox ?

In this film there is a certain William Fox playing a character who according to the credits is called Gregory (but this Gregory is never mentioned in the film). Now I've read in more than one place (e.g. www.tvguide.com) that this William Fox is actually the famous British actor James Fox (obviously when we was still called William), of "The servant" and "A passage to India" fame (among many many others), then about 12 years old. I've seen this film eight times and I've never been able to spot either Gregory or a young boy who could have been James Fox. Can anybody help me?

William (James) Fox starred in the same studio's The Magnet of the previous year, which does suggest it is he who is credited in this film. However as you point out, there are no boy characters anywhere in the film (and even Allana Boyce - June Edwards, the girl who wouldn't give up her Eiffel Tower - doesn't get a mention in the credits). So I reckon that The IMDB link is probably correct and it is a diferent William Fox. I might guess, given his position in the credits, that he is the detective in Rio, but there are plenty of other unnamed characters.

As best as I can tell the James (William) Fox (born 1939), who appeared in The Magnet, is not the same William Fox in this film. The William Fox in this film, born 1911, was quite a bit older and played the character who appears at at the beginning and end of the film at the table with Holland as he relates his tale, and is seen at the end walking out handcuffed to Holland.
