Mention in Walter Winchell's column... The Miami Story

Perhaps this is a joke, but in Walter Winchell's 25 May 1951 column, during the pre-production of this film, Winchell mentions a title change. He writes: "Things That Keep Me Awake Nights: Why 'The Miami Story' film title was changed to 'The Las Vegas Story'..."

I have not been able to track down any other reference to a title change in the project's history at RKO. A seemingly unrelated Sam Katzman film of that title "The Miami Story" was produced at Columbia in 1954.
