The worst thing about this movie was its title. 'Four Kings'

Some guy [Tom Willet] on here suggested the title "four Kings" and that would have been 100 times better. I don't even know what KC Confidential is sposed to mean.

The scroll at the beginning made it sound this was from some actual case that happened in Kansas City. I'm watching this for the first time, but so far, the only thing filmed in Kansas City was the opening shot of Union Station with downtown in the background.

Fargo was much the same. Despite it being the 'titular location', I think only the opening scene of Fargo actually took place there.

I do like "Four Kings" better....

"A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five."

Wow, great minds think alike! When they did the bit with the cards I thought the same thing. And the irony of them being rich as kings but not being able to spend the money (serial numbers could be traced) would give the title a nice little twist.

Nobody gets to be a cowboy forever.

Quote from the beginning of the movie:

In the police annals of Kansas City are written lurid chapters concerning the exploits of criminals apprehended and brought to punishment. But it is the purpose of this picture to expose the amazing operations of a man who conceived and executed a "perfect crime", the solution of which is not entered in any case history, and could well be entitled "Kansas City Confidential".
