help please

The plot of an older man trying to seduce a younger woman is also used in another film however when they get on to the balcony as in this film a proccession comes down the street and the girl is lifted from the balcony to safety.Does any one recollect the name of this film as i just cannot remember it.I was wondering if there was another version of this film but it would have involved a great deal of editing by taking out the ending.
