It is also scheduled on 6-11-09 A.M. at 1:50 A.M. EST. Please double check your local tv guide for the time in your area. I saw it last night and it is a good movie. It is a remake of The Prisoner of Shark Island (1936)which was about Dr. Samuel Mudd who was falsely imprisoned for helping set John Wilke Boothe's leg after he murdered President Lincoln. This movie is set in the west where after the Civil War there were guerilla outlaws and Sterling Hayden plays Gil Hanley who inncocently helps a guerilla and is falsely sent to prison.
Ward Bond is also very good as the sadistic prison warden. James Arness plays one of the prisoners (Redfield) and he shows the promise he was to become in the hit series Gunsmoke. Character Actor Robert J. Wilke plays guard Kearn and Sheb Wooley plays Niel Price who is Gil's neighbbor and friend that tries to help him prove his innocence and Joan Leslie plays Gil's wife.
