Does anyone know what happened to this movie?
I can't find it anywhere.
I remember seeing it on TV in the late 60's and perhaps the early 70's.
I can't find it on VHS or DVD.
I think I remember that "You Can't Take It With You" was not available for many years because it was held by some estate and they would not release it to the public.
Is this what is happening to "The Happy Time"?
From what I understand, there are some legal issues that prevent this movie from being released to the general public. But it is listed for sale on Ebay periodically, I think by a film collector who was able to have it transferred onto VHS.
