It was well deserving of the best picture academy award. Even the name implies it was the best movie ever made.

I think it's probably Mr. DeMille's best film. I am not sure whether I can say it's the best film ever made, however. It appears to have been a very complicated production on a lot of levels. This was fairly close to the conclusion of Mr. DeMille's long career as a film director. Not sure if it has been shown on cable television (my guess is that it has not) but I would certainly watch it again if it was scheduled.
