Notsure who she was, but in today's standards, one might think she was a Tranny. I think her role in the elevator was that of a high end Call Girl.

The woman did not look like a transvestite to me. She resembled Dolores Gray although it was not her. It was a pretty daring scene for the 50s though.

She might have been Dolores Gray double in real life.

I note that Elizabeth Flournoy is in this movie in an unspecified and uncredited role. She was the about the same age as Dolores Gray and not unlike features. Although she wasn't seen glammed up usually in her 1950 movies. It's definitely not Dolores Gray in that lift.

She was tall alright...Widmark is listed at 5'10" and she looked about 2" or more taller than him. Don't know who she was.

Definitely not a "tranny". That was 100 percent woman. And by that I mean a real, born woman.
