Im curious if they will show it again; I have never seen it and just recently
discovered my Dad Bob Ford ( Robert Ford ) played in it; it would be great to see it. he played Al Zerney; it would be nice to have a copy!!
TCM just aired it the other day along with a few other Skelton films - for his birthday. I'm sorry to say that I missed the first 3/4 of the film. I was only able to catch the ending. If it's on again, I'll try to get back here to give you a "heads up".
Watching it now (TCM via TiVo), and I think it's great!
shareI'm a little jealous! But you made me think...so I checked out the 'On Demand' feature that TCM offers and it's available until July 25th. I will definitely watch it before it's too late.

shareYou did! I had never seen the movie and I remember watching Mr. Skelton on TV when I was little. Some of his movies were a bit too much slapstick for my taste...but I was a big fan of his. This looked to be a little on the serious side. I'd love to see it all the way through. I caught the very end yesterday and wished I had seen the whole thing. When you mentioned TCM, the light came on. Good old TCM and their On Demand.
