This movie is extraordinary

This was the Renoir film I put off watching. It was the one I expected to dislike.
Now I think it may be my second favorite after Grand Illusion.

Full of unexpected swagger. It far outswaggers The Rules of the Game to me. It is an individual experience though and different people will view it in different ways.
If you fight this film's flowing perspective multiplicity, you will win. But you will lose in the winning.
