If anyone out there knows, please tell whatever happened to Johnny Stewart? He
gave a great performance in this film and looked like he had a great future.
After one more film, Last of the Comanches, he disappeared. He was the original
Crown Prince Chulalongkorn in The King and I.
A very good question. After BOOTS & COMANCHES in 1952 & 53, he appeared
in some quality TV dramas ("...Hours") for another 1 1/2 years, then
vanished. Does anyone know the years of his NY Stage appearances in
featured roles in KING & I and TEA & SYMPATHY & 2 more.?
TCM aired his BOOTS MALONE on Aug 4,2007. He'd be 73 now; someone
out there knows if he's alive, resides where, hiding in Brooklyn, and
why no screen roles after only 2 years+. ?? Solve this Mystery.
