Always enjoy watching this as I`m sure many do. I caught something rather hilarious watching this the past week on Turner Classic Movies. In Blackbeard`s cabin after he exposes Edwina Mansfield`s frontal attributes somewhat and dubs her Little Robin Redbreast. She retorts "If I had a pistol, I`d shoot out your gizzard-pin!" HARR! I finally got the meaning of that.

The movie is indeed hilarious.
We were gypped but! Edwina was told she would have to remove her clothes to swim ashore. I thought we would get to see her nekkid but no.
This was the only acknowledgement of the women's clothing being totally unsuited to the location and action. They got a bit involved though.
When Edwina was ashore after the unseen swim, I had a laugh at her dress.
Even though hot, heavy and uncomfortable, it gave her shoulders, chest and upper back zero protection from sunburn. Ouch!
