The Black Castle (1952) will be on Svengoolie on MeTV on Saturday, 20 August 2016, at 9PM central time.
It has been over a year since Sven has shown this one. Another real good Universal horror film on a Saturday night. It sure has a lot of familiar faces in it.

I don't remember this one hardly at all, either. But any movie titled "The Black Castle" has to be a either a horror movie or about medieval knights and damsels in distress. This one is a horror movie, even though it stars Richard Greene, who I will always remember as Robin Hood in the TV series.

I enjoy this movie. I'm going to watch it again.
If anyone who likes these hosted horror movies, the Comet TV Network is going to start running Mystery Science Theater 3000 in September, 2016. It's not my favorite. Between Sven, MST3k and Count Gore De Vol (online), I get a pretty good variety.

MST3K is being shown on PBS on Saturday night at 10PM central time, which is about 53 minutes from now. According to my program guide, they are showing Hercules and the Captive Women tonight.
