Happy birthdays, Kirk and Dewey!

Birthday greetings to The Big Sky's leading men, Kirk Douglas and Dewey Martin.

Mr. Martin turned 92 on December 8, 2015. Mr. Douglas turns 99 the next day, December 9.

Neat that the pair have adjacent birthdays (albeit seven years apart), and that both have made it well into their 90s. It's now 63 years after the release of their excellent film, where we'll always be able see them in their prime.

Happy birthday, guys, and here's wishing you both health and happiness.

Thanks for the update hobnob. Yes, the pair will always be as young and strong as they were in The Big Sky, one of my favorite adventure yarns. Once on the silver screen, an actor and the character they play will never grow old.

Exactly so, kbarada. TBS is one of my favorites too. (And reportedly Clint Eastwood's favorite western!)
