DVD release for the Duke's centennial

Warner's is putting this out with other new and reissued titles in honor of Wayne's 100th birthday (release date May 22). A fascinatingly dishonest relic of anti-Commie hysteria. No member of HUAC was ever as rational or fair as these guys portray themselves on screen (the Congressmen in the film are the real people then on the committee). And nobody ever just walked away after taking the Fifth and simply "went back to his high-paying job", as Wayne puts it. (Oh, and I doubt any HUAC investigator ever dragged his girlfriend along on a raid of a cell of subversives.) Enjoyably stupid entertainment -- can't wait!
