Quote copied from Red River (1948)

In this movie, Stewart's amazing line

You'll be seeing me. You'll be seeing me. Everytime you bed down for the night, you'll look back to the darkness and wonder if I'm there. And some night, I will be. You'll be seeing me!

Sounds similar to a line from John Wayne in Red River (1948)
I'll catch up with ya. I don't know when, but I'll catch up. Every time you turn around, expect to see me, 'cause one time you'll turn around and I'll be there.

I wonder if they actually copied the line.

In any case, Jimmy Stewart performed the line better than John Wayne.

They recycled it in similar words; in other words, they ripped it off. It happens all the time in any of the arts. Remember how "Gunfight at the OK Corral" had a cheap imitation of the "High Noon" ending with Earp (Lancaster) unpinning his badge in disgust and tossing it?

Ya,

Also the badge throw seems to be a common trope
