I saw the film tonight and I thought Vera was amazing. I loved the scene where she was wearing the super short black corset. Her legs are perfect. The movie was very good. I love Fred Astaire, Marjorie Main and Keenan Wynn.

i've just watched for the first time both 'the belle of new york' and 'three little words' and i think she was wonderful in both, definately one of fred's better dancing partners

I like a lot of dancers but she is one of my favorites. Her dancing is jaw dropping. Ever since I was a kid Whit Christmas has been one of my favorite movies. Her dancing would always amaze me. I remember thinking I wish I could dance like her when I grow up lol
shareShe was a very attractive partner for Fred and excellent in this film. And I was struck more in this film than On the Town on what an exceptional dancer she was. But better than Cyd Charisse, or a better tap dancer than Eleanor Powell or Ann Miller, or a better partner than Ginger?
