Citizen of Trinidad

As a citizen of Trinidad myself I found the depiction of my country hilarious. The writers and props personnel could have done a little more research. For example though Port of Spain is the capital of our country, there was never a "Port of Spain Herald" or "Port of Spain Airport". Our airport is nowhere near the capital. It is called Piarco International Airport and always was. I also found it hilarious that the preliminary inquiry into the death had no lawyers whatsoever. Even back then courtroom proceedings were heard my magistrates and lawyers and important to note that there are never inquiries for cases of suicide. The maid was also quite curious. She wrapped her head like someone of the baptist faith - An African religion in our country but yet still she had a 'bindi' on her forehead which is a Hindu symbol worn by only East Indian women to identify them as Hindu. At least they made the fishermen sound and look educated!
