is there only 1 vol. - i remember Victor McLaglen

i'm not one to ever laugh at anyone's physical appearance but ...

i remember seeing a TIYL episode with family members on PBS many years ago featuring Victor McLaglen. Victor was either born or raised in S Africa. everyone in the room burst out laughing at what i recall was the highlight of the show. Victor's siblings were brought out all at once in a line. each brother was bigger and more brutish than the one before (at least 4). The last to come from behind the curtain was a sister who looked exactly like one of the brothers in a wig.

Is there only one vol.?

reply

Yes, there is only Volume 1. don't know why they bothered to number it, as they probably had no intention of releasing any more. Sorry to sound so cynical, but this has been my experience over and over again with the DVD's of TV shows- they release one season or one volume and thats it! I am tired of wasting my $-

fr Wikipedia:

>McLaglen was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. His father, a bishop, moved the family to South Africa when McLaglen was a child. He had four brothers who also became actors, Arthur (1888-1972), an actor and sculptor, and Clifford (1892-1978), Cyril (1899-1987), and Kenneth (c. 1901-1979).[1] Other siblings included Frederick (b. ca 1882), Sydney (b. ca 1884), Lewis (b. ca 1889), and a sister, Lily (b. ca 1893). Another brother, Leopold McLaglen, who appeared in one film, gained notoriety prior to World War I as a showman and self-proclaimed World Ju-jutsu Champion,[2] who authored a book on the subject.[3]<
