Was Going to Add a Synopsis, But Couldn't Due to Ad

An ad covered up the screen when I tried to add a synopsis, but when I tried to hit the CLOSE X in a box, the ad remained there, then came up despite my trying to kill it.

Screw the IMDB. I was once the #5 biography writer, but have been disgusted with the commercialization of the site, particularly these obnoxious ads. It is immoral to put an ad that opens (and charges the advertiser as a click through) when the person intended to close it.

It was one thing when the IMDB was merely a gateway to Amazon.com -- I didn't object. It's quite another when it raises revenue, and does it through dubious means, and doesn't share any with its contributors.

Anyone continuing to contribute to the IMDB is a fool, in my opinion.
