Get the 'My Little Margie' RADIO disk, better than the TV shows!

I'll pass this on. I recently bought the "Classic Gale Storm in My Little Margie Old Time Radio Library" by Quality Information Publishers. The one disk has 29 of the radio programs of My Little Margie. Love it. Frankly, I had previously ordered two sets of DVD's of the old TV episodes, which I didn't like that much, though worthwhile seeing the old TV shows. I find the radio shows much better written and funnier! Anyway, if you liked the TV shows, you'll love the radio shows.

I am not into the technical aspects of these recording. The radio disk says on it "DVD Video"!!! I could play it by putting it into my computer (Mac) tower and hearing it from my iTunes, but it wouldn't play in my MP3 CD player or on my car CD audio system. But I was instructed to burn a copy on my computer, and Presto!, I could play the burned CD on the iRiver CD (MP3) player and on my auto CD player. Just love the clever radio shows. The only members of the TV cast on the radio shows are Gales Storm and Charles Farrell. I read someplace that the radio shows were made after the TV show was canceled. The person playing Freddie on the radio show was good, sounded like the guy on the TV show. Vern's girlfriend on the radio episodes was called Connie, not Roberta, who was on one episode (I have not listed to them all); Connie had a strange Southern accent. Mr.Honeywell, perhaps the best actor on the TV show, is on the radio show, played by a different actor. Mrs. Odetts, whoever played her, was very good on the radio show, and she usually had a big role in the episodes.
