Way to go, imdb - NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine my horror and disgust. There used to be a wonderful discussion group for the superb Hallmark movie "Valley of Light" by itself. Now there's just one giant group for Hallmark Hall Of Fame. These movies were not part of a series. The idea is absurd. Each one is an independent movie.

Boooooooooo, imdb.

I don't understand what is happening recently to the IMDb. They had compiled all the TV movies from the anthology "Hallmark hall of fame" (i don't why, I had watched one or two of them, and it didn't appeared to me as an episode of any TV series), and now, they have separated them again.

They are compiling many other things that were considered independent before, sometimes it is more or less justified ("Les aventures de Tintin [1957]"), some other times it is very very strange :
- "American masters" is now a huge collection of documentary movies, and the movie "No direction home Bob Dylan" by Martin Scorsese is now simply considered as one episode of this series
- "Great performances" is now a huge compilation of movies concerning classic music, and suddenly the movie "La danse - Les ballets de l'opera de Paris", which I have seen in a movie theater, has become a TV episode.

My guess is that there is no real control over the site, people can do almost everything and then boom, all is changed for some part of the site, then the people change their mind, and boom, all is changed again.

Yes they were, only it was (is) not a weekly series. These were not (and are not) TV movies produced independently. They were produced as part of a series that aired only a few times a year called "Hallmark Hall of Fame". The movies were all made as part of a series.
