I recall as a teen that her dad killed Mr. Reardon in the 60's or 70's I guess. But I never understood why. Was her mom sleeping with the other guys, or just a friendly person and her husband was a jealous psycho? Did he kill his wife as well. I know I'm going way back, but if anyone recalls the plot, let me know. I recall HB killed him when he started messing with his family. I recall Annabelle always had blackouts regarding the murder, but Tony helped her heal emotionally and they eventually got married.

All I remember is that Annabelle's mother either drown or died somehow and her father came back to Springfield to get even with the men who were with Annabelle's mother when she died. Annabelle's father killed Bill Bauer(one of the men) and also tried to kill HB, Henry and a few other old timers on the show. That is about all I remember. It all started when Annabelle found a picture of a woman who looked just like Annabelle and some other men. I don't really remember how that story was wrapped up.

Annabelle's father Eli Sims murdered her mother back in the early 60's. After Henry told the story how that all came about (to a room full of people), Eli was killed shortly thereafter.
