Does anyone know if an actress other than David's real wife played his wife on the show to start with? I've recently bought a few episodes on DVD and noticed that his wife, June, seemed to be played by a different actress from one episide to the next, but can't get verification. Help...

From what you mention, it is possible that Judi Sherven also portrayed June in other episodes prior to June Blair (Dave's real wife) assuming the role permanently.

June Blair was in at least 2 other episodes proior to the marriage as David's temp secretary and in "His Brothers Girl". There was an episode where Ozzie had a dream that David was married and with child and they resided in what became the apt. on the show for the real Nelson's (Dave and June) possibly that is where the confusion is from.
