Possibly because it was such a financial flop on its initial release, especially after all the reshoots ordered by Howard Hughes.🐭
shareI don't know. Warner owns the film and they put out a lot of obscure stuff, including numerous flops, on their Warner Archives line. Hopefully this film, like a lot of titles still unreleased, may one day show up on WA.
However, I wouldn't hold my breath awaiting a Criterion release.
