Script available online?

I ask because this is a fascinating movie, but it's imposisble to understand what they're saying most of the time, and I've yet to get it on DVD, or any other format wherein closed captioning is available...

Thanks!

The script of the film isn't available online. Although you might find the aria (the words) of the opera someplace online. The film makes some changes from previously staged operas, but not that many. And most staged operas of The Tales of Hoffmann vary quite a bit anyway. Especially in the order of the different "acts".

But you could always get a DVD of it. The Criterion DVD has English subtitles and they do make it much easier to follow. Especially when 4 people are singing at once, and all singing different words, in the Antonia segment.
