a remake?

I like the film, I've seen it twice now since getting it on DVD the other day. But, there could be room for a little more, IMO. I don't think a feature film would be taken seriously, but what about an animated one for DVD? Get a more "realistic" look for the mole-men, maybe work out a message at the end that doesn't support segregation? Anyway, I think there is potential. It would also be neat if the Superman look could be based on the Fleischer cartoons, or thirties pulp covers, with a little George Reeves thrown in. Go for a look and time of its own set between the 30's and the 50's Americana. Maybe set at a time before Superman has become big news, early in his career. Anyway, I think there could be potential there.

Yeah its a great idea, I'd watch something like that for sure. With all the different Supermans coming at us recently if 1951 Superman, Smallville, Lois and Clark and everyone started doing cartoon versions though I think I would go a little crazy with dvds coming out of everywhere.

I watched this movie with some friends the other day and we had a great time. I love how Lois sees tiny men in zip up suits, black make up and hairy hands and immediately assumes they look like moles... haha classic.

Gretchen: You're weird.
Donnie: Sorry.
Gretchen: No, that was a compliment.

I always thought the creatures looked like bald-headed midgets in furry pajamas. But I suppose "Superman and the Bald-Headed Midgets in Furry Pajamas" wouldn't fit on a theater marquee.

I don't recall where it was but someone did a new comic book some yrs back with
George, John, Noel, and Jack.
also many of the guest stars over the years plus they bring back LT O'HARA
Joi Lansing's role)
It was very well done. I think it might be on the site with shots of all the actors
who played Super.

Considering this was the first non-serial superhero film, that would be a good idea. Though, the audience for it would be small.
