Finally found this movie and that song!

You know, this is CRAZY but (I am 64) and that song in SLAUGHTER TRAIL has kept running through my mind ever since I first saw the film in my aunt's movie theatre back in (what must have been) 1951 or so.

I read posts from two other people saying the same thing.

I am from Texas and my aunt's theatre was in the LITTLE Texas town of Bridgeport, about 50 miles to the north of DFW.

I thought the movie was in B&W...but it seems like it was really in color.

Well, maybe my aunt got a B&W print for a small town to save some bucks.

Someone said it was an example of "A Greek Chorus". I don't know but I SURE remember it.

Well, B movie or not, the song is still in my mind.

If anyone has any other remembrances of SLAUGHTER TRAIL ...I'd like to hear them.

Saw this movie on a Sat. afternoon at my local B movie theater. I loved it too and that song...... Years later it was on TV so I got my reel to reel and recorded the song as it was sung as the movie went on.

I also did it with The Gunfight at OK Corral.

Another song that rings through my head is another Frankie Laine song, The 3:10 to Yuma. It has been remade with Russell Crowe doing the Glenn Ford part.
