Louie Nye Sighting?

Just found the movie on TV.
Been on for a little more than an hour and a half now.
Just saw a scene where Betsy Drake is standing by a mailbox on a country road.
She's crouched over, picking some items up, as it appears she's just dropped them.
The shot shows a car barreling down the road towards her.
A man pulls her out of harms way, just as the car nearly side swipes the mailbox.
Had she been left where she was, she obviously would've been hit by the car.
Shot switches to Betsy and the man looking off at the car, swerving down the road.
She thanks him and walks out of the shot.
The man appears to be dressed like a mailman and he looks like a young Louis Nye.
The character is not listed in the Full Cast and Crew credits, or on Louis's IMDB page.
Can anyone confirm or deny whether that was him?
It really does look like him. Watch the movie and you'll see!
If that is him, it would be his first movie credit, as his only listed performance, prior, is a part on a TV show from 1949.
