Dancing with balls?

Is there a scene in this movie where Fred dances in a gym setting with the balls? If not this movie do you know which one I am looking for?

Hi, maryleep ~
I just watched the gym scene, and Fred dances with these items:
hat rack
resistance weights
parallel bars
pommel horse thingy
punching bag (just one small kick)
club-shaped weight
hat rack (again)

I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen him dance with balls. Might they have been golf balls? I'm vaguely remembering something about golf balls, and I'm thinking it's in "Holiday Inn". But I could be completely wrong about that.

I'll post back here if I come up with anything else!

They were large brightly colored balls-I think some were striped.

I don't remember him dancing with balls in Holiday Inn; he did dance with firecrackers.

yep, I remember the firecrackers for sure; I'm not certain about the golf balls. I guess this gives me a good excuse the watch "Holiday Inn" one more time...

The golf dance is from Carefree (1938).

Hi,
I don't know if this will help, but there's a number in the movie Anything Goes where Donald O'Connor is in a gym on a cruise ship and has a number choreographed with a lot of different sized balls.
Perhaps that's what you're thinking of...

Fred danced with at least two balls in every number of every movie. Sorry people - I just had to make a punch line.

There is a scene at the beginning of the film 'Royal Wedding' in which Fred and Jane Powell are dancing for an audience in the ship's ballroom. The ship enters a storm and the floor starts to tilt. They start to slide. They hit one side of the room and dance back to the center. Then they start sliding in the other direction. They fall into the lap of an audience member. As they dance back to the center, the floor is again tilting in the opposite direction and lots of balls are rolling with them, under their feet. I think these must be citrus fruit or something! From the collision and falling into they guy's lap. He was probably sitting at or near a table. They may have served or plan to serve food in that room.
