I know what you mean! It sure caught my attention. It's a realistic touch to the movie. I'm sure that was a common sentiment among many men in those days. It's a wonder women ever survived with such prevalent attitudes.

It is made 'better' by making it produce more walnuts for you by making it vibrate with the blows, thereby loosening the nuts. Beating the previous two would also make them more amenable to your command, as does this.
