Best Civil War movie?

Audie Murphy stars in one of, if not the best, Civil War movies ever made. The story of a youth who has to cope with the fear of battle. It has three, full-scale, incredibly realistic battle scenes that put the viewer right in the soldier’s shoes. The final charge with the American flag is one of the most iconic scenes in the history of war movies. 3.5 action rating

War, Anti-War, "Civil" War. One of the best. Ken Burns must have been inspired when he saw this.

I'm my own opinion the best Civil War movie has not been made yet. TRBoC is great, but suffers because the studio wouldn't let JH make it the way he wanted, as a bitter anti-war film. The cut/lost Ragged Soldier death scene of Royal Dano was apparently so disturbing the studio execs panicked and had it removed after JH went to Africa. "Glory" may be the best CW film to date, but it could easily be unseated with something far more gritty.
