'Rawhide' goof

Did anyone else notice this 'goof' in the excellent 'Rawhide'? When Tyrone leaves his locked room with the water jug, Hugh Marlowe locks the door behind him, when Ty returns with the water, he just opens the door and enters!

Nope, when Tom returns he also unlocks the door. It's all done in one continuous motion, so you can be excused for missing it. Especially if you didn't rewind 10x to be sure.

I think someone else posted this alleged goof in that film and there was a reply that if you look closely you will see that the door does get unlocked when he returns with the water.

Another possible goof I noticed, is when Zimmerman is reading the map, he holds the pencil in his left hand. Yet he shoots right handed.
I suppose he could've been ambidextrous.

Bumping this thread...I write left-handed but throw and shot right-handed so it's not rare.
