Gotta love that scene where Ryan severely slaps around his kid brother because he wants to marry a "tommy" (Lizbeth Scott) ... To his credit, the brother STILL insists that he will marry her !! :)

Yes, it was a very loaded scene with Lizabeth and Mitchum watching. Ryan's character revealed himself by getting so concerned about his brother.

Then later in the movie he dumps her without a second thought.
