Sophia Loren

Does any one knows in what part of the film she apears?
And Liz taylor?

You have to be really eagle-eyed to catch Sophia in the triumphal march sequence. She breaks out of the crowd and ecstatically approaches the chariot carrying Robert Taylor, but she's seen very briefly in an over-the-shoulder spot from Taylor's stance on the chariot.

As for Elizabeth Taylor's supposed appearance, it is said that she was one of the Christians whipped into the arena to be consumed by the hungry lions, but I've never been able to spot her, and I've seen the film on big theater screens three times and have the two-tape VHS version in my library.

I can't understand why this one, a really superior spectacle and a big box-office hit when it was released (and re-released), hasn't been given the full DVD restoration treatment. Perhaps some day!

Sophia Loren appears in the huge banquet scene but only fleetingly. If you blink - you missed her. Liz Taylor appears in the arena night scene were christians are burned on crosses. I haven't been able to spot her yet but I do
have a still of her getting ready for action.

I am also looking for Bud Spencer - now famous Italian actor who played in many Spaghetti Westerns namely in the "Trinity" series. In "Quo Vadis" he is simply identified as a "praetorian guard" of which there were many. It was Bud
Spencer's first screen appearance and he was then under his real name of Carlo Pedersoli.
