shareGood actress, I wonder what her name was. She appears again at the arena toward the end of the film.
shareThe Vestal High Priestess was played by English actress Strelsa Brown (1919-1976), as JCS-3 suggested. She appears in the film's cast-list as 'Rufia', presumably her character's personal name. (Rufia was the name of a real 1st Century Vestal High Priestess - who Nero, of course, was reputed to have raped.)
Ms Brown subsequently had an occasional career in the Italian cinema. Peter Ustinov acted with her again in "Romanoff and Juliet" (1961), which he also wrote and directed. She has both IMDb and Wikipedia entries.
