...the exterior of Susan's house is the same house as Double Indemnity, unless it's a house that looks EXACTLY like the Double Indemnity house! The interior shots didn't match, but were probably done in studio, as DI may have been. I kept looking for that iconic staircase that Fred MacMurray looked up to see Barbara Stanwyck. Surprised that no one has mentioned this, especially because of the plot similarities (at first)... I thought The Prowler was going in the same direction as DI then of course it took a different turn.

I noticed the same thing, too.

It is definitely NOT the same house. It's similar but there are hundreds of thousands of houses like that in Los Angeles.

Trust me, I've actually been to the Double Indemnity house and they are definitely not one in the same.
