finding this movie

I saw this movie as a young girl and absolutely loved it. I am sure my young grandkids would get a kick out of it too. But I have searched for years for it online and on television. If someone has a copy of this movie, or can tell me where to find one, please e-mail me at [email protected] I await your mail with great anticipation.

I saw this movie years ago and I remember loving it (or at least being thoroughly amused). If anyone knows where I can get a copy, please reply to this and I'll send you my e-mail address.

Hi Cliff

I too having been looking for this movie for a long time along with Tony Curtis flick The Purple Mask. Do you still have it, what format. Neither of the movies even appear in Tony Curtis write-ups. Once "The Purple Mask" was advertised for TV screening but then wasn't played. It is frustrating getting a hold of old classics that have simply never been re-released.

Hi:

I saw your reply that you can get this movie. Is it still available since this was posted in 2006? Also if it is can you tell me if the copy is vhs or do you copy to DVD. Also, I have a copy that someone made on DVD but is was recorded off of the TV and I'm looking for a better copy.

Thanks,
Valerie

I saw part of it when I was a kid but I was only parked in the theater while my mother attended some errands and was pulled out just as a contortionist was wriggling through four sets of bars of a prison cell. Wish I could see the rest sometime.

Hi, This film has just been released on dvd by Bounty Entertainment (who are based in Melbourne) who have licensed the rights from Universal. RRP is around AUS$9. Those seeking it should try ebay.com.au, sanity.com.au or contact Bounty entertainment in Fitzroy directly.(It is a PAL system, region 4 dvd so foreign buyers will need a multi-system TV /monitor and a multi-regional dvd player.) Cheers,Mike

I am also a grandma who saw this movie as a child & loved it. I think I fell in love with Tony Curtis that day & I was very impressed with Piper Laurie's talent, beauty, & dexterity! Been a fan of hers ever since. I would love to be able to show this movie to my daughter & grandkids. Funny thing - we just watched the Prince of Persia movie this past evening, & I couldn't help noticing the similarities in the plot line of the these two movies. Anyone else notice it? It's a strange coincidence that we would receive this latest Netflicks rental just after Tony Curtis died...
