Looks good on Blu-Ray!
I bought the Masters of Cinema Blu-Ray of this film as the premise interested me, and I enjoy French cinema (apart from that New Wave tedium). Gotta say I'd recommend it to all with a dark sense of humour, and most of the jokes have aged pretty well.
The storyline is well done, and contrary to some reviewers, I personally don't think the film runs out of steam (there is an interesting metaphor at the end involving the village children).
I think this film cost me about £6. Definitely worth a punt!
