Angela's clothes were beautiful..

Indeed they're very beautiful, perhaps Edith Head's finest costumes in a movie. It won her the Oscar for Best Black-and-White Costume Design in 1951.

My favorite was when Elizabeth Taylor and Monty Clift were dancing together after having bumped into each other at the party in the pool room. I know the movie was in black and white, but the dress had an enormous white tulle skirt over pale green satin with white violets covering the bust. This info was in a book I read about Edith Head.
