Final scene

While almost all of this movie takes place in NYC with the exception of Johnnie's talk with his girl in Jersey, very little was filmed in NY on location. I estimate no more than 5 mins at the most. The final scene was filmed at a overpass near downtown LA which was also used in the Superman Episode "The Machine that could plot Crimes".
The only filming in NY is showing a short segment of Johnnie walking down the street, the chase by the Manhattan Bridge , Spencer Tracy walking into the Criminal Courts Bldg On Centre St , and when Tracy takes Johnnie's girl for a ride after he found out she tried to see him in Jail.
