Gregory Peck's worst movie ?

I haven't seen everything he ever did which is why I'm asking. It wasn't a terrible movie . I just didn't think it was particularly good, just a stereotypical 50's western. Didn't even have a good theme song like a lot of the westerns from that era.

This was actually a very good film. Lots to like.

Peck made a few really terrible movies. Two stand out as the worst.

The worst is by far MCKENNA'S GOLD, one of the greatest wastes of money, talent, and time ever. Just for the modernism hate feeling.

The second worst is THE STALKING MOON, another modernism hate cliché.

Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Gregory Peck, himself, always claimed he had made it at a low point in his career. Which, for me, is ironic. Because, when I first saw this movie as a Sunday afternoon matinee on TV, it was the first time I had ever heard of Gregory Peck...and I loved it! I now concede that, compared to his other roles (like Capt. Ahab, in the original version of MOBY DICK), it might not have been a great strain on his acting abilities. But, I wouldn't award it anything worse than a B+, either.

Mostly, because I still enjoy watching it, any time it comes on.
