A Double Take

There may be a tiny resemblance in a couple of places, around the eyes and nose. But I wouldn't go too far with the comparison. In general they don't look a thing alike.

I had the exact same thought when I first saw this film. And I came here to imdb to check if there was any relation between these two actors.

There is one scene, not long after Jimmy Stewart's Theodore Honey character has expressed his concerns to the Captain, that Niall MacGinnis takes back the pilot's chair and for some reason had put his cap back on. Just before he removes it and hangs it on the peg behind his seat, he sure 'nuff looks like Paul Sorvino as he listens to a crew member speak.

Once the cap was removed, the illusion went with it.
