Good News. English version!

Well, not the whole film, but one very tasty little scene with Audrey. Buy or rent the DVD for "How To Steal A Million", starring Audrey and Peter O'Toole. Among the Extras, there's a biographical short film about Audrey's entire life. This includes a one minute clip from "Monte Carlo Baby" (the original English title for this opus). The script is terrible (she has to say the word bull*cks), the actors and cinematography are terrible, Audrey has obviously never had any training as an actor... but, despite all that, she's fabulous. She's Audrey! Let's hope there's a nice, smart, money-hungry distributor out there who can use this info to chase down the full English-language version, and then put an English DVD on the market. There are obviously millions of us out here, desperate to see this film. Despite everything, Audrey is absolute magic !

If I can ask, in the end credits of that biography, do they thank any film archives or something like that?

They ought to issue a DVD set of all her pre-Roman Holiday films with a documentary of her life to this time and her career as she was making these films. Her charity could get part of the proceeds.

Then maybe they could do something similar with her TV appearances, especially Mayerling.

I've seen this movie about ten years ago in the Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. The print was in pretty bad condition, with lots of material missing. So I guess the reason nobody can find it, is because the quality is too bad to release it on dvd. The film can only be of interest to fans of Audrey Hepburn, because the vehicle is in no way interesting. Bad story, bad acting. Even Audrey is not at her best. A totally forgettable movie.
