Good movie!

Worth watching. The acting is good especially by Broderick Crawford.

It was a serious movie but that parting scene was hilarious. I won't say what it is because I don't want to spoil it for you. But you will be amused.

Yeah but they played it out too long - bad editing job there IMHO. It should've lasted no more than 3 seconds - maybe that one effect where the end is a large circle moving to a very small circle -damned if I can remember the name of the effect ! Jeeesh. I guess another description would be like the lens on a camera
going from wide open aperture down to almost closed....what the HELL is the name of the effect LOL !!!

I'm pretty sure the effect where the large circle diminishes to a small circle is called an iris shot. Loved the movie by the way.

I enjoyed it too! It got only 2 stars (out of 4) in my oldies rating book, but I think this is way too low. It was a good story, a wonderful cast, and the script was just terrific. Lots of subtle humor, which you don't often find in this type of film.

First time i SAW the big guy was on HIGHWAY PATROL Monday nights 7:30 ch 4
NYC (NBC) I was still a pre teen I found out more about his movie roles later.
Then there was that silly KING OF DIAMONDS lasted only 1 season.

My wife passed him on the street the week he was on Saturday Night.

He was very nice to whoever spoke to him
