'No Talent Joe' SOOOO Gay

That musical number, "No Talent Joe" looked like it came out of a homo-lite Beefcake magazine. How short could those toga wraps be? I understand this was choreographed by the same Jack Cole of the number in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes where Lillian Russell is amidst all those musclemen at the gym. GAY! GAY! GAY!

And I thought it was curious when one of the leading men asked the dancer who was on the pay phone where Betty Grable's dressing room was, the dancer gave him this really cruisy look up and done in in a provocative voice said "over there." The leading man looked really insulted and almost angry, like he was just propositioned by another man.

Horrible movie otherwise. Even the musical numbers made no sense.

I thought it was great. Gay men aren't the only ones who like beefcake!
I thought it was really interesting that the two female support dancers for Ms. Grable were named "Sappho" and "Billie"!
Thank goodness for TCM! I'd never seen this before, and just love it.
